Consistent Finish with Silicon Carbide
Coated Abrasives can be manufactured with different types of
grains, which have a huge impact on the sanding result.
Silicon Carbide is a sharp, very hard grain that is best suited for
glass sanding. This grain is very brittle, so it fractures when
pressure is applied. This so called “friability” leads to the fact that
there is always new, sharp grain on top
of your abrasive.
The result: an extremely consistent finish!
ACT Coating
ACT (Advanced Coating Technology) is a special top coat applied
on coated abrasives that provides excellent grit adhesion and
improves longevity of the product.
