Properties:
A Non-Woven is an abrasive product in the sense that there is an abrasive grain Class
attached to a substrate via a binder resin. A 3 Dimensional web of thin nylon fibers
acts as the substrate the abrasive grain is embedded in and attached to. This differs from a traditional coated abrasive where the abrasive grain is attached to the
2 Dimensional flat surface of a paper or cloth backing.

Cleaning / Surface Prep

Deburring involves removing
the imperfections of shar/
rough edges. Stamping
processes leave metal burrs
behind that require removal as
a prominent process.
Blending
Finishing / Polishing Preparation
Creating uniform finishes,
blending makes different
surface qualities more equal
leaving them burr-free and
smooth.
Improving the overall finish
and preparing the surface
for further enhancement is
typically the final step with
