“needling” the nylon fibers through
the scrim. This provides rigidity
and support, while preventing the
non-woven from stretching in belt
applications.
Nylon fibers make “loops” that
give the backing a fuzzy velour.

NWSB offers a high initial cut
rate with a closed resin coating
causing it to be stiff and more
aggressive. That causes less
conformability but more cut.
This Material is good for general
purpose blending, and deburring.
Non-Woven low stretch is made
with a stiff scrim backing to prevent
stretching under high tension.
Aggressive resin and grain coating
gives the most aggression making
it a good removal material. Due to
the low stretch and aggressive resin
and grain the belt has maximum
life. The only material you can
make wide belts out of.
Non-Woven X Flex is a flexible
scrim backing that is meant
for tight radius contact wheels.
The resin to grain ratio is
enough aggression for light
weld removal and deburring.
So it is good for cleaning up
and removing welds from
metal, so a really good
cleaning material.
