PAPER BELTS
PS 20: Primarily for grinding and polishing
on metals, but also useful on leather. Closed
coat, Aluminum Oxide, resin-resin bonded to
heavy F-weight paper. Best for wide belts and
stroke sanders.
PS 22 ACT: For grinding and polishing metals and for finish sanding on hardwoods and
leather. F-weight paper backing, Aluminum
Oxide closed coat resin-resin bond available
in intermediate and wide belts.
PS 27W: † Silicon Carbide, open coat
stearated on a D-weight backing for wide
belts stroked sanding. Best suited for UV
finishes or high gloss finishes in the woodworking industry.
PS 21: *** F-weight paper, fully resin-bonded,
alumina zirconia grains. Ideal on steel and
stainless steel plates. Also for use on stamped
parts, final grinding of cast-iron housings, and some woodworking applications
PS 24 ACT: * Fully resin-bonded Silicon Carbide material, F-weight paper backing. Works
well for non-ferrous metal applications, sanding
between coats of paint, lacquer, varnish, etc. in
woodworking applications, or for finish sanding of particle board or MDF. Available in wide
belts, production belts, or stroke sanding belts.
PS 29 ACT: Aluminum Oxide open coat,
resin-resin bond, F-weight paper material.
Works well in any application where loading is a problem on soft woods or mix of
hard and soft wood.
